Resurrection Buns - clarks' Photos

We baked these delicious treats to illustrate the miracle of Easter Sunday. If there is one way to speak to my kids or teach them anything important, it's to teach through food.

clarks > The marshmallows represent Jesus. They are white to symbolize Jesus' purity and sinless life.

clarks > Flour to keep the dough from sticking to the counter.

clarks > Butter to make the sweet spices stick to the buns (and because it's yummy).

clarks > Cinnamon because the women came to the tomb on Sunday morning to put sweet spcies in the tomb. Sugar for the sweetest gift Jesus gave us.

clarks > First we sprinkled the counter with flour to keep the dough from sticking.

clarks > The biscuit dough makes a great tomb for the marshmallow body.

clarks > Then we rolled out the biscuits.
